A Stevens testv\u00e9rek c\u00e9g\u00e9t anyagilag,<br \/>\nilletve k\u00e9sz motorblokkokkal,\u00a0 m\u00e9rn\u00f6k \u00e9desapjuk seg\u00edtette. Az A. J. Stevens &amp; Co. A \u201970-es \u00e9vek elej\u00e9n a Brit ipar hull\u00e1mv\u00f6lgy\u00e9ben, a szigetorsz\u00e1g motorker\u00e9kp\u00e1r c\u00e9geit (AJS, Matchless, Norton, BSA, Triump, Villiers) egyes\u00edtett\u00e9k Norton-Villiers-Group n\u00e9ven. A Norton-Villers-Group terelte az AJS-t a motocross vil\u00e1ga fel\u00e9.<br \/>\nA Stormer-t (fels\u0151 utas\u00edt\u00e1sra) egy 250 ccm-es Villers Starmaker (Y4) er\u0151forr\u00e1s hajtotta.
